Helen Gapen Oehler
(American 1893–1979)

With studies at the Art Institute of Chicago, as well as in Provincetown and New York, Oehler became a member of the Society of Independent Artists, Provincetown Art Association, as well as several other associations. She exhibited at the 1939 World's Fair, National Academy of Design, Pepsi-Cola Exhibition of 1945, Allied Artists of America, and the Society of Independent Artists.
