Alfred McNamara
(American 1911-1994)

A native of Staten Island, Alfred McNamara studied under Werner Drewes during the 1930s, through a program at the Brooklyn Museum, which was sponsored by the Works Projects Administration. He also studied at the New York School of Art. Exhibitions include those at the Brooklyn Museum, Salmagundi Club, Newark Art Club, and the Staten Island Museum.
