Fred Lynch
(American b. 1935)

Fred Lynch earned a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art and continued his studies there, as well as at the Instituo ‘de Allende, Mexico, and Maine College of Art. He has had numerous solo exhibitions at museums and galleries, including those at the Portland (Maine) and Colby College museums; Maine Coast Artists; Genovese/Sullivan Gallery in Boston; Greenhut Galleries, Portland; and McGowan Fine Arts in Concord, New Hampshire. He has also been included in a great number of group shows. His work is in the collections of the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts; Portland Museum of Art; Farnsworth Museum, Rockland, Maine; and the Portland Public Library.
