Charles Edwin Lewis Green
(American 1844-1915)
A resident of Lynn, Massachusetts, as well as Boston, Green studied briefly
with Otis Webber in Boston in the 1870s. His paintings were exhibited at the
Boston Art Club from 1882-1907, as well as at the National Academy of Design,
St. Botolphe Club,and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, among other venues.
One of the Lynn Beach Painters, he also painted with the American colony at
Concarneau in France and on the Cornish coast at Newlyn.
