Lucille Corcos
(American 1908–1973)

Lucille Corcos studied at the Art Students League with Jan Matulka and Richard Lahey. A painter, designer, illustrator, and cartoonist, she lived in NYC, and was a member of the New York Society of Independent Artists and the Artists Equity Association of New York. She exhibited extensively, and her work was acquired by numerous museums, notably the Whitney Museum of American Art. The author and illustrator of various volumes, she was married to the artist Edgar Levy.
